What Anthropology Can Do For Psychology- An Article Review about the future of Psychology, Ideal for History and Systems of Psychology Students! - "What Anthropology Can Do For Psychology: Facing Physics Envy, Ethnocentrism, and a Belief in 'Race'" Jefferson M. Fish Jefferson M. Fish's article "What Anthropology Can Do For Psychology: Facing Physics Envy, Ethnocentrism, and a Belief in 'Race'" was a very intriguing article which rang many bells of truth which are seldom even addressed in the field of psychology. The main point to Fish's article was the fact that psychology as a science is an ethnocentric field which is not to be considered a science in the reality of things. Fish, as a psychologist believes this from his new found point of view, that of a psychologist married to an anthropologist who discussed with him her opinions on the ethnocentric nature of his field of study."

The Great Initiation by Richard Tarnas- An article review of a huge psychological article which debates about the main factors in psychology and how they came about and what will ultimately be the downfall of the field of psychology if it continues to follow the path it is on now! - "Tarnass' article is one that strikes me as strange and yet intriguing. The article itself serves somewhat as a warning to the human race that some kind of advanced initiation is called for in order for there to be any discovery and understanding. Tarnass makes a point to discuss "advances" made through past theologists who believed that the world was more mechanical. It is Tarnass' belief that as a race humankind does not understand enough of the universe that envelops them; he feels that this will be our ultimate downfall if we do not learn to change."
